Cross Reference List for Vintage Dealerships to Their Account Numbers

I am sure that all of us would like to know what dealership sold our cars when they were new. Some of you are lucky enough to have an original window sticker, warranty, advance dealer shipping notice or other sales documentation that has the information. For most of us, that type of paperwork is long gone. Occasionally though, something does survive with just the five digit dealer account number on it. As an example, it you have a 1967 or older model year car, you can contact Chrysler Historical & buy a copy of the original IBM card for your car. The IBM card will have the dealer account number, but then you need to find a list that ties that number to the actual dealership name & location.

I started tracking these numbers years ago but the list grew very slowly, so I asked for help. Thanks go out to all the Moparts forum members that stepped up to the plate with information they had, you all helped this list grow much faster than I anticipated, thank you!

If you find that you have some dealership information not shown below, please email with an image of the paperwork you have or the data & I will add it to the list. Since this list was complied from multiple sources, there is no way to guarantee its accuracy. If you note a spelling or other error please let me know that as well?
