FC7 - Plum Crazy

(Updated 04/04/2009)

Plum Crazy is another wacky Chrysler Corporation color name, possibly hinting that the owner was "nuts" about purple. It is a metallic color and sometimes you'll see it referenced as Plum Crazy Metallic which is incorrect. It is also one of the optional High-impact colors, and as such would have cost you an extra $14.05 to order. You don't have to be plum crazy to like Plum Crazy.

Due to the large number of pictures now on this site and a long layoff from updating it, I can no longer give individual credit to each picture. Though I have taken a lot of the shots myself this site would be nothing without the contributions of some of my friends. Andy Cockroft, Barry Washington, Jeff Bangert, Tom Tully, Alan Munro and Diego Rosenberg have provided me with shots. A lot of pictures were also grabbed off of the internet at places like the The Challenger T/A Registry, Transamcuda.com, The AARchives, Moparts, eBay and various muscle car dealer sites. If you would like credit for a picture that is yours please let me know and I will do so.

Thanks,
Ken Bowser
