FY1 - Banana
(click on images for larger version)
(Updated 04/11/2009)

Note that for the 1970 model year FY1 was just called Banana for Challengers. It was not called "Top Banana". It is also one of the optional High-impact colors, and as such would have cost you an extra $14.05 to order. FY1 was dropped at the start of 1971 and replaced with GY3 Citron Yella. Later in the model year it returned.

In May 2005, I was lucky enough to go to Indiana with my friend
Barry Washington to photograph and document the lowest mileage
T/A known to exist. It is a Mr. Norm's car so it has several mods.

Here are a few pictures of it.

Due to the large number of pictures now on this site and a long layoff from updating it, I can no longer give individual credit to each picture. Though I have taken a lot of the shots myself this site would be nothing without the contributions of some of my friends. Andy Cockroft, Barry Washington, Jeff Bangert, Tom Tully, Alan Munro and Diego Rosenberg have provided me with shots. A lot of pictures were also grabbed off of the internet at places like the The Challenger T/A Registry, Transamcuda.com, The AARchives, Moparts, eBay and various muscle car dealer sites. If you would like credit for a picture that is yours please let me know and I will do so.

Thanks,
Ken Bowser
