January 2022 |
Happy New
Year Everyone! Hopefully 2022 treats us all better!
No items were claimed in December.
Our first IOTM for 2022 is a
broadcast sheet for a 1970 Challenger R/T that was found
inside a bucket seat back of another car as so many are.
The VIN on it is JS23N0B366105
This one was handed over in person
and I ended up buying my 1970 Fury III from him too, thanks
Gene!
As always, proof of ownership
and proof the car still exists will be required to claim
it.
Thanks!

February 2022 |
No items were claimed in January.
Our February IOTM for 2022 is
a broadcast sheet for a 1970 Challenger convertible with
a 318. This one was found in a bucket seat back of another
car as so many are. This one is interesting..... While it
was printed on an E-Series (1969 model year) broadcast sheet
which is very common, every line was printed lower than
it should have been. So the VIN is on the second line down,
cool to see!
The VIN on it is JH27G0B129282
Thanks for sending it in Peter!
As always, proof of ownership
and proof the car still exists will be required to claim
it.
Thanks!

June 2022 |
Wow! That expresses it in a nutshell.
Registrations for 1970 Hamtramck cars have been coming in
hot & heavy with over 1,000 new cars since the start
of the year! The majority of the new additions are Cuda's,
so the rest of you need to catch up!
LA car registrations have been
coming in too, just not nearly as many. Hamtramck was a
much larger plant though, so that is to be expected.
Due to the large increase in
registrations there have been longer than normal reply times
for letters & email too. I have to process this around
my day job because it pays the bills.
Thank you all for your patience!
Our IOTM for June 2022 is a broadcast
sheet for a 1970 Challenger R/T SE with the 440-6, the VIN
is JS29V0B187013
As always, proof of ownership
and proof the car still exists will be required to claim
it.
Thanks for sending it in Bob!
The Carlisle show is also approaching
fast! So if anyone has found broadcast sheets, dealership
files or other items they would like to turn in to help
keep this endeavor going, please email me?

July 2022 |
Another item was claimed in June!
I mentioned last month that registrations
had really grown, then over 500 more new 1970 Hamtramck
cars were reported in June alone!
1970 LA registrations also saw
a significant increase, mostly registrations for Challenger
models.
As a result of the very fast
growth, the delay in answering emails that I mentioned last
month is still ongoing, so thanks again for your patience!
Our IOTM for July 2022 is a broadcast
sheet for a 1970 Barracuda with one of my favorite features.
The VIN is BH23C0B363479
As always, proof of ownership
and proof the car still exists will be required to claim
it.
Thanks for sending it in Greg!
The Carlisle show is also just
ahead as of this writing! So if anyone has found broadcast
sheets, dealership files or other items they would like
to turn in to help keep this endeavor going, please email
me before the show?

August 2022 |
A broadcast sheet for a 1970
Cuda was claimed in July!
I mentioned
last month that registrations had really grown. We have
had over 1,800 new 1970 Hamtramck cars & over 400 1970
LA cars added to the Registries since the 1st of the year!
As a result of the very fast
growth, the delay in answering emails that I mentioned last
month still persists, so thanks again for your patience!
Our IOTM for August 2022 is a
broadcast sheet for a 1971 Cuda 340. The VIN is BS23H1B282967
As always, proof of ownership
and proof the car still exists will be required to claim
it.
Thanks for sending it in David!
Thanks also to everyone that
passed registrations & other items to me in person at
the Carlisle show!

October 2022 |
No records were claimed last
month, but as of the 1st of this month, we now have 16,001
1970 Hamtramck cars recorded!
Many of the entries are
for paperwork like broadcast sheets, engines & transmissions
that have been found. If you are hoping to locate anything
for your 1970 Hamtramck or Los Angeles built car, please
Register! The 'Register' button in the menu at left will
give you options on printing out a registration form to
fill out & mail in. All 1970 Hamtramck & 1970 Los
Angeles built cars are welcome, four door cars included!
Our IOTM for October 2022 is
a broadcast sheet for a 1970 Barracuda with a group option
code rarely seen - A46. It was only available on Barracuda
models. It included grille, tail panel & wheel lip moldings
with deluxe wheel covers. At this point in time, I have
only heard of three A48 optioned 1970 Barracudas so far
but there has to be more!
This broadcast sheet is for
one of them. The VIN on it is BH23C0B170223
As always, proof of ownership
and proof the car still exists will be required to claim
it.

A record for a Challenger T/A

Our IOTM for December 2022 is

for his car.
